About

About this blog

Reading, Writing, Booking is a place for me to share my love of books. Reviews, book collections, reading memories and more will be shared here.

I cover a varied selection of books as I have a rather eclectic taste. I particularly enjoy crime fiction, both new and old, fantasy, classics and historical fiction.

I also love and have started to collect children's books, so prepare for everything from Eva Ibbotson to Julia Donaldson.

I'm afraid Chick-Lit and YA won't make much of an appearance on here, as neither genre really interests me. But I'm always open to suggestions and am happy to be surprised by something out of my comfort zone.

I'll also cover a little of what I'm doing as a freelance writer and author, which hopefully won't bore people to tears.

Which leads me onto...

About me

My name is Victoria and I'm a reader and writer based the Suffolk countryside.

I work as a freelance features writer and copywriter. I've worked for a number of publications over the years, covering everything from button pairing competitions to the question of whether pubic hair is back in fashion.

You can find out more by visiting my old blog: Victoria Richman Writing.

I have been a voracious reader ever since I can remember.

Like thousands (millions?) of book-lovers out there I had hopes to write my own book, and in July 2016 I finally realised this dream when my novel Highlanders' Revenge was published with Matador. I actually co-wrote the book with my uncle Paul Richman, under the pseudonym Paul Tors. Highlanders' Revenge is a World War Two historical fiction novel and you can read more about it here.
